Shimron Hetmyer is an explosive top-order batsman who has garnered a reputation for his fearless batting style. Initially picked for the 2014 U-19 Cricket World Cup, it was during his second appearance in the tournament in 2016 that he made his presence felt. A regular for the national side since 2017, he has become one of the bright young talents in the West Indian team. Given that he has already played 45 ODIs, 53 T20s and 16 test matches, Hetmyer maybe just 23 but he has quite a pedigree at the absolute top level.
