The year was 2012. India was the reigning Cricket World Champion, Manchester City won the league with the last kick of the season, and the country was ready to fall in love with sports all over again.
Two young avid sports fans, Harsh Jain & Bhavit Sheth, launched Dream11: India’s first Fantasy Sports Platform.
They started from scratch to make Dream11 the new language of sports for over 3 crore sports fans, helping them to showcase their skill and knowledge!
Our mission is to be India’s most trusted fantasy sports platform, and we’re only getting started.
A die-hard Manchester United and Indian cricket team fan, Harsh is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA from Columbia Business School. This is the second venture for Harsh, having previously launched and successfully led the acquisition of Red Digital (a social media agency) by Gozoop.
Harsh is committed to help Indian sports fans use their sports knowledge & skill to play on Dream11. In his free time, Harsh enjoys playing football, loves pampering his dogs or is busy planning his next adventure.
Bhavit is an Engineer with an MBA from Bentley University (Boston) and a Diploma in E-commerce strategies from Harvard. Bhavit co-founded Dream11 with Harsh in 2012. As the COO, he is focused on providing the best, most trusted, user-focused experience via operational excellence throughout the company’s processes.
Like Harsh, Bhavit is also a Manchester United and Indian cricket team fan. He considers Virat Kohli to be the most inspiring sports person ever. Along with being an avid fantasy sports enthusiast, Bhavit is a voracious reader and a passionate photographer.
