Fantasy Cricket is a skill-based game that involves creating a team of 11 players for an upcoming match wherein you earn points based on your selected players’ actual match performance. As a Cricket team player, you can make your fantasy league, including the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) fantasy league, ICC Men's T20 World Cup, Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Abu Dhabi T20 League, and Super Smash leagues. To create a solid fantasy cricket team, you should select 11 players performing their best in batting, bowling and fielding. This is particularly important in shorter formats of the game such as ODIs and T20 leagues. The exciting part is that you can replace 11 players or any low performing players with a performing player throughout the ongoing series.
The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) is the most-watched T20 Cricket league in the world. It is a tournament where renowned international cricketers come together on one stage & budding Indian players are groomed under their guidance. The current teams include; Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, IPL is now set to become a ten-team tournament from the 2022 season with the inclusion of two new teams - Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cupis the international championship of Twenty20 cricket. The new format would include 20 teams divided into 4 groups (5 per group), with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Eights. They will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
The 2024 T20 World Cup will be hosted by the West Indies and the United States. The 2026 tournament will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, with the 2028 edition in Australia and New Zealand, and the 2030 tournament in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. The CPL T20 tournament is played between six teams and is divided into a group stage and a knockout stage. In the group stage, the teams each play ten matches, three of which are at home. The playoff stage includes two semi-finals and a final to determine the winner of the tournament. The tournament includes six franchises with 15 contracted players each, including a maximum of five international players and four players under the age of 23. Each team has one local and one international franchise player. The six teams include; Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders.
T10 League or Abu Dhabi T10 League is a Ten10 cricket league in the United Arab Emirates approved by the Emirates Cricket Board. Matches are 10-over-a-side and the duration of each match is 90 minutes. Six teams fighting for the coveted title are Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, Northern Warriors, Team Abu Dhabi, and The Chennai Braves.
The Dream11 Men's Super Smash is a men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in New Zealand. The tournament consists of a double round-robin, with the top three teams qualifying for the play-offs. The six teams are Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Brave, Otago Volts, and Wellington Firebirds.
