Krunal Pandya in the IPL,

But these performances were built on Pandya’s showing for Mumbai Indians earlier that year. In early 2016, he was signed by the Mumbai IPL side for Rs. 2 crores.
He was a key figure for Mumbai in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, and in both years, he featured in the IPL best XI. He was also declared man-of-the-match in the 2017 IPL final against Rising Pune Supergiants, where his 47 was crucial in helping Mumbai defend a low target and win by a narrow 1-run margin. Krunal's T20 strike rate is currently 134.63.
Mumbai Indians re-signed Krunal Pandya at the 2018 IPL auction, and he stayed with them until the 2021 season. During this period, he won two more titles with the Mumbai squad.
At the 2022 IPL auction, Lucknow Supergiants signed Krunal for Rs. 8.25 crores. He will play alongside Deepak Hooda for the Lucknow team.

Krunal Pandya - International record

Krunal has also represented India in T20 Internationals, unlike his Baroda counterpart. He made his T20I debut against the West Indies in November 2018, where he scored an unbeaten 21 off just 9 deliveries and picked up a wicket.
Later, Pandya also played in a T20 series against the Australian cricket team. While he was smashed for 55 runs off his stipulated 4 overs in the first game, he made a comeback in the next two, picking up 1/26 and 4/36. His four-wicket haul in the third match earned him the man-of-the-match award.

krunal pandya deepak hooda : Who is the better captain?

Deepak Hooda led Baroda in the 2016-2017 season before moving to the Rajasthan team in 2021. Krunal Pandya was named Baroda captain for the Vijay Hazare 2019-2020 trophy. Neither player had much success as captain of Baroda. They have never captained the Indian team or any team in the IPL.

Krunal Pandya vs Deepak Hooda: Playing Style

Both players are rather aggressive. However, Deepak is a more aggressive batsman, thanks to his higher strike rate (159 vs 134). Krunal is considered a better bowler, primarily because Krunal operates as a bowling all-rounder, whereas Deepak is a batting all-rounder.

Deepak Hooda vs Krunal Pandya: Who has more potential?

Both players have plenty of potential to excel at the highest stages of the game. While Krunal Pandya has already played T20 Internationals for India, he did not make it to last year's World Cup squad due to lack of form.
On the other hand, Deepak Hooda has proven to be a useful lower-middle order contributor and seems to be a promising prospect. Overall, Krunal Pandya has better stats, but Deepak Hooda is the better player in their current form.
This brings us to a conclusion comparing krunal pandya and deepak hooda. They will soon be playing under the same roof for Rising Lucknow Supergiants.
With players such as Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya not being a part of the National T20 squad set up for some time, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and other all-rounders such as Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, etc. will look to seal their spots in the T20 Indian team's setup.
Who knows, one day Deepak and Krunal may combine to land India their first T20 World Cup since 2007.
