Rajasthan Royals IPL Fantasy Cricket Team
History of Rajasthan Royals Team In IPL
Rajasthan Royals is a cricket franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2008, this franchise was extremely low-profile and least expensive among all eight franchises. They lifted the champions’ trophy in the very first season under the captaincy of Shane Warne. However, they have not managed to win an IPL title for the second time since.
RR is known for its unearthly hidden, high-potential talent and involvement in several controversies and scandals. In 2015, this team was banned for two years along with another popular franchise, CSK, according to the Lodha Committee inquiry, due to their involvement in cricket betting, which is completely illegal in India. In 2018, they came back and participated in the biggest T20 league, IPL.

Rajasthan Royals Retained Players 2022
Except for skipper Sanju Samson, all the teammates looked very uncontrolled throughout the season last year as they finished at no.7 of the points table, winning just five matches out of 14. They will try to forget about the 2021 season and go ahead. As per the rules and regulations of IPL, ahead of the coming season, Rajasthan Royals had an option to retain four players. But the franchise retained only three players, skipper Sanju Samson (14 cr), English batsman Joe Butler (10 cr), and uncapped 19-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal (4 cr). Royals have a massive 62 crores INR to select the players from the mega auction to make a balanced squad for next year.
Rajasthan Royals Home Ground
The home ground of Rajasthan Royals is Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. This stadium, handled by Rajasthan Cricket Association, seats 30,000 and is one of the finest in India. Sanju Samson
Skipper Sanju Samson is the only player who performed exceptionally well throughout the last season. He scored runs under challenging circumstances and impressed one and all. Samson was on the list of top scorers last season. With his cricket bat, Samson smashed 433 runs in just ten matches. Samson made his debut for this franchise in 2012 and has continuously been part of it. The team management appointed him as the captain, but somehow he failed, and we hope he will do better with his strategy in the coming days

Chris Morris
Chris Morris is one of the finest all-rounders in the world in the current situation. This protea all-rounder made his debut in 2013 in the jersey of CSK. In 2021, the Rajasthan franchise bought him for a record 16 crore INR in the auction. He made it to the taglines that time for a considerable pursuit, but he failed to impress the management thoroughly with his performance. He scored just 67 runs with a strike rate of 142.55, and with the ball, he picked up 15 wickets with an economy of 9.17
-
Chetan Sakariya
Chetan Sakariya impressed everyone last year with his performance. If any team management can groom him perfectly, he might be an asset for any team and his respective nation. Sakariya made his IPL debut in 2021. This left-arm seamer picked up 14 wickets with an economy of 8.41. His best figure was 3/20.
-
Mustafizur Rahman
This Bangladeshi left-arm seamer did exceptionally well for this franchise as he picked up 14 wickets in just 14 matches. He can deliver cutters as well as yorkers perfectly with good seam balance. His economic rate is just 8.41. RR team management released him ahead of next season, but there is a high possibility that they might bid for him in the auction room.

Rahul Tewatia
Rahul Tewatia has been a part of this franchise since 2018. He did exceptionally well for this team since his debut, but he caught the eyes of the audience when he smashed five sixes in an over in 2020 against KXIP. Last year, he picked up eight wickets in 14 matches with an economy rate of 9.18. His best bowling figure was 3/32.
