The Caribbean Premier League (CPL or CPLT20) is the first Twenty20 cricket tournament organised in the Caribbean. The world's finest cricketers gather annually to show off their skills. Launched in 2013 by the Cricket West Indies (CWI), it established the right mix of refined prowess in the field with excitement due to limited overs. This T20 tournament is played between six CPL teams among which is St Lucia Zouks (now rebranded and known as St Lucia Zouks).

St Lucia Zouks History:
Formerly known as St Lucia Zouks (from 2013-2016 and in 2019-20), the team was founded during the inaugural season of the CPL T20. It was first rebranded and referred to as St Lucia Stars (2017-18). With the change in ownership in 2021, the team was renamed St Lucia Zouks. The CPL team is the representative team of Saint Lucia, and its home ground is the Darren Sammy Stadium. Darren Sammy was elected as the team's first captain in 2013.

Although st Lucia Zouks won their first CPL match by 5 wickets, the team had won only 2 games all season. It was recorded as the team's worst opening season. The team was off to a good start by winning their first match of the season. In total, they won 6 out of 10 games in 2016. This was the first time they qualified for the playoffs by placing third. They finished the season standing at the fourth position among the CPL teams.

Deemed as one of their poor seasons, the team couldn't build any winning streak and again placed last in CPL 2017.

Even with big names onboard and a change in captaincy, this season proved to be a disappointment for the fans. The team could win only 3 out of 10 games and stood at the second-last position out of all the CPL teams.

The team’s performance in 2019 was similar to that of 2018.

With a change in the ownership and the coaching of the team, the team won 6 out of 10 matches and qualified for the playoffs for the second time. The team placed as the runner-up of the Caribbean Premier League 2020 for the first time in history.

The team tried to keep its momentum high and reached the playoffs this season, too. However, the dream to win the title was pushed back as they wound up placing second in the tournament again.
