The long-awaited South Africa T20 League Fantasy Cricket 2023 is the first professional domestic franchise cricket league to be held in South Africa. It is expected to excite cricketers around the world and raise the standard of cricket in the country. The inaugural edition of this gratifying cricketing tournament organized by Cricket South Africa will be held across South Africa from 10 January 2023 to 11 February 2023.
In the South Africa T20 Fantasy League 2023 tournament, six teams will compete against each. These six teams include MI Cape Town, Paarl Royal, Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Durban Super Giants, and Johannesburg Super Kings.

Catching Up with South Africa T20 League

Graeme Smith, the honorable commissioner of the tournament, informed that this gripping championship will be played in a Double Round Robin format where each team will play ten matches with points scored for each win or draw. The table topper from each team will automatically advance to the finals whereas the teams coming second and third will compete amongst themselves to secure their place in the finals.
This thrilling tournament is intended to provide the younger generation of upcoming players with an opportunity to experience exposure at international levels and hone their skills while playing with the veterans of the game.
The auction for this tournament began in September and all six teams confirmed their squads over here. The player who emerged as the most expensive one was the young batting sensation, Tristan Stubbs. He was acquired for an astounding 9.2 Million Rand.
