Everything You Need To Know About T20 World Cup 2022

The ICC T20 World Cup has been one of the most-followed international ICC tournaments that attract millions of cricket fans. Many Fantasy Cricket lovers like this game format due to its fast-paced, action-packed short-duration nature.
The ICC T20 World Cup was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an edition expected to be hosted by Australia. Australia won the 2021 edition and is now all set to host the T20 World Cup in October-November 2022.
Here is all you need to know about T20 World Cup 2022:

About T20 World Cup

The ICC T20 World Cup started in 2007 in South Africa, where India defeated Pakistan. There have been seven editions of the ICC T20 World Cup so far.
The event is expected to be hosted every two years except when an ICC World Cup collides in the same year. In such cases, it is hosted a year before the World Cup.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the T20 World Cup. The ICC announced in July 2020 that in the wake of the global crisis, the ICC T20 World Cup was to be pushed back by a year.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 that was supposed to be organised by Australia was pushed to 2021, and ICC T20 World Cup 2021 that was to be hosted by India was pushed to 2022.
Both countries retained the right to host these tournaments, albeit in reverse order, i.e., India hosted the T20 World Cup in 2021, and Australia would host it in 2022.
